Strong to severe storms remain possible in Alabama overnight, and a tornado watch continued for parts of the state. The National Weather Service issued multiple tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings late Saturday and early Sunday, and more storms will be possible across south and east Alabama through the early morning hours.

Alabama Power crews say they have restored power to more than half of those who were impacted by the severe weather Saturday night and Sunday morning.
