IMG Academy's Jake Kreul announced his commitment to Oklahoma football live on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Aug. 12. The 4-star edge rusher and No. 3 overall player in the USA TODAY Florida Top 100 named the Sooners over a top three that included Texas and Ole Miss.

Oklahoma has gotten its most significant commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle on Tuesday when defensive end Jake Kreul, No. 22 in the 2026 ESPN 300, announced his pledge to the Sooners on "The Pat McAfee Show.
