The White House will take questions from reporters around 1:00 pm on Wednesday after the House left Washington early for summer recess and President Trump said it's time for the DOJ to "go after" former President Barack Obama on charges of "treason.

RCP's Phil Wegmann asked Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to respond to the criticism that opening an investigation into former President Obama is more of the "weaponization of government" that the Trump administration decried in 2024.

Tulsi Gabbard said Wednesday on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” that she couldn’t have gotten past the “deep state obstacles” to release files exposing the Russiagate hoax without a whistleblower coming forward to provide “critical pieces” to the story.

As the director of national intelligence's absurd claims fall apart, she’d be better off sticking to the “no collusion” line.
