I know the lane leadng up to Overbecks is a nightmare, especially if you dislike having to reverse on a strange road (which I do). So we're looking at the East Soar Car Park as an alternative. Is it accessible by a reasonable road? And does the walk from there to Overbecks require any serious climbing? Thanks James in Canada

Sorry I can't help specifically but all the roads in that area are very narrow and steep. Suggest you look at a very detailed map of the area.
